This wine is 100% Chardonnay from the highest plantings in Marsannay, in the Cote-D’Or of Burgundy. While this wine sees time in barrel, 20% of which is new, it is refreshing and crisp. It is bursting with rich citrus and mineral flavors that are a benchmark of young white Burgundy wines. This wine should be on a cheese lovers favorite wines list, as it will pair well with a wide range from brie to cheddar. Most of Domaine Marc Roy’s holdings are old vine Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, ranging in age from 40 to 100 years of age.
